PuffPricer's value is comparability: every THCA listing we show is reduced to the same unit so you can compare it head-to-head. Here's exactly how that works.
Where the data comes from
Automated collectors read each vendor's public product pages and refresh roughly every six hours. We capture the product name, strain, weights offered, prices, and availability as the vendor publishes them. We don't receive private feeds and we don't edit a vendor's prices.
Normalizing to price per gram
Vendors price flower in many formats — an eighth (3.5g), a quarter (7g), an ounce (28g), a quarter-pound (112g), and bulk. We convert each weight to grams and compute price per gram, so a discounted eighth and a bulk ounce can be compared directly. Edibles are normalized to price per milligram of total cannabinoid instead.
What "best price" means
Listings are ranked cheapest price-per-gram first among in-stock products. Larger weights almost always win on a per-gram basis, so the best raw value tends to rise to the top — but the full price table is shown on each card so you can choose the weight that fits you.
Grades
- Exotic — top-shelf, highest-potency or premium genetics.
- Indoor — grown indoors under lights; consistent quality.
- Greenhouse / light-dep — greenhouse-grown; a middle tier on price.
- Outdoor — sun-grown; usually the lowest cost per gram.
- Shake / trim — loose flower material, flagged separately since it isn't a grade.
Limitations
Prices and availability can change between refreshes, and some discounts only apply at a vendor's checkout, so the figures here are a current snapshot — not a guarantee. Always confirm the price, stock, lab results, and shipping to your state on the vendor's own site before ordering. Spot something wrong? Tell us and we'll fix it.
