PuffPricer tracks live THCA flower prices and computes an average price per gram for each grade — our THCA Price Index. When a vendor's cheapest listing in a grade sits below that grade's market average, the vendor can embed a free “Below Market Average” badge that shows the figure and links back to their PuffPricer page.
How it works
- The badge image is generated from the prices we track and refreshes on its own — there is nothing to maintain.
- It states a real, current figure: the vendor's price per gram versus the market average for that grade, with an “as of” date.
- If a vendor's prices rise above the average, the badge stops making the below-market claim — it only ever shows what is true right now.
How to add it
Open your vendor page (find it from the vendors directory). If you currently qualify, a “Below-Market badge” section appears with a live preview and a copy-paste embed snippet. Paste it anywhere on your site.
It is disclosed and non-purchasable
The badge is not for sale and a vendor cannot pay to receive or keep it. It is generated solely from the prices we collect, and it never influences our rankings or the Price Index — those stay sorted purely by price per gram, exactly as described in how we collect prices and our affiliate disclosure.
